Reading batting figures
A batting table describes a particular innings, not a season ranking. Choose a source-listed match and read each innings heading before comparing the figures. Runs, balls faced, fours, sixes and strike rate are displayed only when provided. A dash marks an absent value; it is not a zero.
Strike rate measures runs per hundred balls faced. It does not show whether a batter was dismissed or whether the side won. Individual batting runs may not sum to the team total because extras and penalties are accounted for separately. For bowling spells, open Bowling. For both tables together, use the full innings scorecard.
These source-backed figures are refreshed when a match is selected. Coverage can be incomplete, particularly before play. This page does not turn a player list into a confirmed playing XI or manufacture historical averages.
