国民年金: Japan’s New Childcare Contribution Exemption Starts in October

Japan’s 国民年金 National Pension system will add a new, income-unlimited childcare contribution exemption on 1 October. The measure is aimed at eligible self-employed people, students, farmers and unemployed parents in Category I coverage, and it treats the exempt months as paid when calculating the Old-age Basic Pension.
